Terms of use

These terms explain the basic conditions for using the LGwU website and client portal. They are intended to provide clear operational guidance for clients, visitors, and authorised users.

Use of the website

The LGwU website provides general information about our services, contact options, and access to the private client portal. Visitors should use the website responsibly and should not attempt to interfere with its security, functionality, forms, or server resources.

Portal access

Portal accounts are created only for authorised clients and approved users. Login details must be kept private and should not be shared with any unauthorised person. LGwU may restrict, suspend, or remove access if an account appears to be misused, compromised, inactive, or no longer required.

Client records

The portal is used to maintain project records, service codes, payment records, linked payments, reopen requests, disputes, and related communication. All client records use aliases, project codes, service codes, and payment codes instead of internal names or identifying details.

Accuracy of information

Clients and authorised users are responsible for submitting accurate information through the portal and contact forms. This includes payment proofs, reopen requests, dispute details, contact information, and any other submitted records. Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading submissions may delay review or processing.

Payment proofs and linked payments

Payment proofs submitted through the portal are recorded for review and tracking. A submitted proof does not automatically confirm payment unless it has been checked and recorded by the LGwU team. Only payments linked to the relevant client or project will appear in the client portal.

Reopens, revisions, and disputes

Clients may use the portal to request reopens, revisions, or raise disputes where applicable. Each request will be reviewed based on the relevant project record, previous communication, payment status, and the nature of the requested work. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval, additional work, refund, or reversal of any prior decision.

Privacy and limited visibility

LGwU aims to keep client records limited, private, and professionally organised. Internal project names, private notes, administrative comments, and other admin-only details may not be visible to clients. Portal visibility is controlled to show only the records considered relevant for client access.

Uploaded files and submissions

Users should only upload files that are relevant, lawful, and safe. Uploaded files may be reviewed, stored, downloaded, or removed by LGwU for operational or security purposes. Files that appear unsafe, irrelevant, corrupted, abusive, or unauthorised may be deleted without notice.

Communication

Messages sent through the website or portal may be reviewed by the LGwU team. LGwU may respond using the email address or contact details provided by the user. Response times may vary depending on workload, request type, availability, and the details required for review.

Availability of the site

The website and portal may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, hosting limitations, security updates, technical faults, third-party service issues, or other interruptions. LGwU does not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

Changes to these terms

LGwU may update these terms when needed to reflect changes in the website, portal, services, workflow, security practices, or operational requirements. Continued use of the website or portal after updates means the user accepts the revised terms.
